99 Toyota Camry Engine Swap

First of Im new here and even though I have alot of knowledge in Mugen tech and honda tech I have little when it somes to my Camry.
I own two civic hatch backs on boost, and a 99 camry which is my daily driver because not only is it the only one with ac but I love it. What I want to do is setup a sleeper to the point that after people see it their like wtf....I was thinking of dropping the v6 engine in there and going super chargered that would be the easiest and most logical think to do but honest I want to be a little different. I doubt the supra engine will work because my car is a FWD, the first question is what engines would you recommend me doing, money is not really the issue, but the ease of the swap itself is my main concern.....
Keep in mind I own a 99 camry LE automatic, so I would need something that would mate to the automatic tranny with ease or get something that can mate to the tranny mounts with no to much problems....I want to run a supercharged or boosted car....putting out about 300-350 at the wheels, thats about all I think that that tranny can take....that would let me run low 13's in the 1/4 maybe even 12's....anyway let ne know what you think

hello,
what engine is in your camry? is it a 5sf or a 2az? as this will determine which engines you can swap in

5sf...damn 4 banger I was supprised at the fact I was actually able to outrun a 3 seiries BMW at top end with just a filter and exhaust and now I am thinking like a crazed man.....I would even try to fit an is300 motor in it....as long as I can run 5-10 pound of boost....and maybe a 75 shot of nitrous I will be fine....

3SGTE would be the best bet, do manual conversion to.
There are a few of these running around

Dude,
You can't easily put in an IS300 motor. They are Rear Wheel Drive North/South.
As above, your best bet would be 3SGTE or even turbo the 5SFE.
Try searching "http://www.toyotanation.com/index.php"
It's a US site.Should be a few Turbo 5SFEs on there.
Cheers

To make it legal he'd need to find a 99 or newer 3S-GTE. Probably not an easy thing to find, and definitely not cheap! Methinks a V6 swap would be the way to go, but then again I can't imagine it being any more cost-effective than trading the car in for a V6 Camry.

The gentleman concerned is in the USA if I have half a clue about geography....and yes, as Norbie said, trade it in for a V6 Camry and then buy and fit the TRD USA supercharger kit for the 1MZ V6 motor.
