ive just replaced my front break pads in my RA23. i bled the lines and when i pumped hte brake it was firm. When i started my car, the break had absolutely no pressure behind it! Any ideas why that is? would it mean it needs to be bleed more?
Cheers

Did you bleed all the brake lines, not just the front ones where you replaced the pads ?

hey. yeh the pressure built up when i pushed it in a few times but once i stopped it when soft again.
No i only bled the front lines, am i ment to bled both??
I thought the back brakes were a different system. as in they use the other container.

The whole system is linked up as one.
You must bleed every brake, starting at the one furthest from the M/C and finishing at the one closest to the MC. Make sure you keep the fluid topped up in the MC as you go.
Do this and tell us the result.
Cheers.
