any M series motor compete Qld Tue, 05 April 2005 08:04 Go to next message
well here is the deal, did some damage to the engine in my crown and is gonna cost more to fix it then the engine is worth
so what i want is an old M series motor
possibly something that has been removed for a conversion
currently fitted with a 4M (2.6L) and she ain't fast so probably wouldn't wanna go any smaller then that.

Prefer Toowoomba, Brisbane or surrounding area's

currently have too many projects on the go so would prefer carbie fed aswel as I don't really wanna stuff around with all the wiring on another car

so please have a look in the corners and bottom shelves, got a 4M/5M or something similar? let me know
want something by the weekend hopefully

Thanks Wayne
btw got a corolla 1.6L carby 4cyc that could swap if wanted

come on people
nothing laying around?
had one offer but postage was worth more then the motor Sad
forgot to mention should be 79 or newer as they don't like putting an old motor in a newer car

If i can't find anything by the end of the weekend i'll have to call the engine rebuilders on monday and tell em to go ahead and rebuild the head.....

even if you have a carby fed 5m head might be interested
has to be the one with the chain timing setup tho

Thanks Wayne
