i'm interested to know this my self , i can't help much but i was at the wreckers and looking at the front strunts of a ra23 or something like that and there was a ke30 corolla next to it ,and that got my thinking if the the strut would fit into my 25 cos the strut in the 30 are simlar, i was thinking of just thinking of trying to fitting the brakes to the ke20 strut instead
sorry not much help but hope if there is more reply some may help

funny i got a reply tonight, cause today i started the conversion. me and my mates got as far as getting the strut out, but the ta22 steering knuckle is also needed, which i didnt purchase with the strut... so hopefully some better luck tomorrow, as we all have the day off work . We discovered some mcool dodgy work of lowering the previous strut though I fanyone knows anything else thatll stump the swamp other than the steering knuckle/ball joint, please let me know...

you can find a list of steering arms and what struts go on what steering arms over on toycrazy.net. you need to swap the strut and steering arm onto the ke20 lower control arm, and retain the ke20 strut top
you'd have to play around with springs, as ta22 springs would probably be too high for a ke20. you could also convert to weld-on height adjustables which would need to be engineered
ta22 springs may be too large in diameter to fit in ke20 strut towers. i know ke20 and ke70 have smaller diameter springs than ke30/55, which i assume would be the same as ta22
i'd say you'll then need to upgrade the brake master cylinder, as ta22 brakes are alot bigger

The conversion is pretty much complete... jamie wasnt far off from wat we did, but we used the whole ta22 control arm and the strut. The ta22 strut tops were replaced with the ke20 ones and the springs swapped over too, as they were too wide for the strut tower. My springs had been cut by the previous owner, so im just going to get pedders to install all new shocks, springs and itll need a wheel alignment pretty bad before engineering.
The only real mods it needed was widening of the 2 holes for the strut bar, as on the ta22 they are all of a couple of mm's too far apart. To connect the strut bar to the control arm, i had to shorten it as much as i could...still hoping it wont have to be replaced when i get it aligned.
any questions, just ask.. cause even i hope i can answer them
