Clean the ISCV and make sure the TPS is set to IDL when throttle closed.

If a fuel filter is that blocked that it causes a car to stall at idle, then you wont be able to rev the car at all.

Car bucks/cough under full thottle, as its not getting enough fuel, will happen worst around peak torque.
Motor will ping under full throttle for a while, but you might not notice it.

ahh ok thanks mate. i'm having similar problem with the other gt4.

it does exactly what you described, as well it cutting itself off when going through a turn at a low speed (when you remove foot off throttle to shift gears), or at a stop light.

EDIT: sorry to hj jackel

Fuel filters are about $30.

Its good to change them ever couple of years anyway.

Just do it for peace of mind.
