does any one know if GTE valves are bigger/same size as GZE valves?
also does anyone know of an over size piston that will fit the 1G-GZE?
just wanting try and up the cc's on the 2lt.
i know about the HKS stroker kits but they are hard to find and cost a F#*k load...not that boring and custom forgies is any cheaper really...but still if any one knows of anything id much appreciate it.
cheers

well,
through some more trawling of the arhcives via the search function ive found a few referance's saying that the comp ratio in the GZE is 8.0:1 and the GTE is 8.5:0.
and other than that the internals are the same.

the valves are the same size but I can usually get 1mm and 1.5mm oversized , race spec stainless ones. i had to get special forged pistons last time we did one of these, where the owner wanted a capacity change

I know some parts are interchangeable between 4a and 1g (valve stem seals), but I would have thought that the 4a pistons would be a fair bit bigger.
Anyone know what diameter thay are? I think the 1G ones are 75mm. I thought the 4a ones were closer to 80mm. That wouldn't leave you with much wall thickness on your cylinders.
