AE95 centre diff question?

Is the centre diff in an AE95 an open diff or a viscous coupled diff? I know it has an electronic centre diff lock, but when this is off, is it an open diff?
Also, anyone know the details of the differences between the SR5 and the other models of AE95?

i think all the ae95s have the 4afe's with oil cooler?
just visual differences like that over body thing, the bonnet thing, radio? mine had the older ae82 style radio (being the cheap version), auto/man, powerwindows/steering, underlip, grill, colour coded bumpers, etc....
