Cruise Control main switch, then use the stalk to control it.

Definately is Auto Drive (i.e. cruise control)
Witzl and I were puzzled by that one at first... but not as much as the red button above the gear shifter which has japanese characters on it.
The red button is a release button for the shifter so you can move the shifter when it would normally be locked in place.

press it so it goes green, then move the stalk (the one covered in japanese writing on the right side of the steering column) DOWN to initiate cruise control at whatever speed you're travelling.
to go UP in speed, move the stalk up. and hold it there. you will feel the car pick up speed. When you reach the desired speed, let go of the stalk and it will hold that speed. If you hear the car decelerate, that's ok. once it drops 1-2km/h below the cruise speed it will pick up and match it again.
to turn cruise control DOWN in speed, hold the stalk down. let it go when the speedo reaches the desired cruise speed.
to turn cruise control off, tap the brake, pull the stalk out toward you, or press the A/D button to turn autodrive off.
Hope I have helped!
Cheers
James

If its a factory manual (look at the firewall ID plate for the gearbox code), then the cruise will work.
If the car has been converted, the cruise most likely will not work.

Just check that build plate, if that says W58 then it's a factory manual. Any of the cruise controls will have a main switch.
