Hi,
Unfortunately our model cars have very VERY limited bolt on upgrades, especially turbo's. About the only ball bearing one i have come across is a CT27 (not sure if it is genuine toyota) from this company www.atsracing.net they are an american company tho :-/ it is $1150 for the CT27 plus a $300 refund if u ship them your old core. The turbo is good for 300-310 RWhp in an MR2 which is about 380 at the fly.
Other than that i don't know of anything else, others may correct me tho

The "CT27" is not a ball bearing turbo, it is just a modified CT26 with a TO4e compressor wheel and a modified exhaust housing.
The other bolt on option is to use a CT20b which came on the late model Gen 3 3SGTE. This turbo has about an extra 50hp capability than the CT26.
My advice though is that you'd be better off getting some programmable management than a turbo upgrade. Every GT4 I've seen on the dyno gets around 10:1 air fuel ratio, fix this and there should be a bunch of power and responsiveness to be had.

i have seen on a few online turbo shops that they sell ball bearing upgrades for the 3sgte manifold. have a look around on ebay and google you will find something or buy get a custom exhaust manifold fabricated with the new turbo you will be using
