hey does anyone know where you can import those two door ae82s or the two door sx's.. i seen a few advertisd in NZ.. but jus wondering how much it would cost and how do u go about doing it
i assume u are talking about the FX models. i think someone had an ae92 one imported on here not long ago but theyre out of the question now casue theyre 1989 models, with the new changes to the 15 year rule itd jsut be too much hassle and i dont think any workshops will bother to get approval for them. shipping well end up costing more than an ae82 models purchase price, probably double that after u pay all ur taxes ect too but have a look around and email a few importers. speak to some car people in NZ casue shipping from there would be alot cheaper than japan, and an ae82 model would only require the minimal things done to it for it to be registered in australia, ie side intrusion bars all that stuff u have to do for a 15 year import previously, engneering blue slip and rego.
