i had a drive of a 2003 celica the other day and it was slow. it was stock. felt like it didnt want to rev hard when i gave it a bit (much like the new v6 commodore) very dissapointing drive i must say. for a 40k plus car toyota could do a way better job, if subaru can make a 4wd boxer turbo for 40k imagine toyotas margins on the celica........wtf.

I have driven only an auto which we don't really test nor comparative. On the open road it's fun to drive and over take vehicles. Contact -Spy- as he has a ZZT231 and uses his as a daily car...
having driven a 6sp manual zzt and my Gt4 - i gotta say again that the gt4 is still the better machine ..
it might not be as free revving but it monsters the zzt in everyother dept from what i read from a back to back run
personally - if your in the market for one of these - look at this for an option ..
so far ive spotted 8 st205 Gt4's over here in new zealand for sale all with lowish kms and for under $15k..
id look at privately importing + refreshing one of these over buying a zzt - only drawback is you would need to store it for 12 month or so oget it under private import laws + such
