Solid Works - Grrrrrr.

I've got myself a new computer and have obtained a copy of Solid Works 2004 SPO from a mate.
Now, when I was getting it from him he showed me how to load it on my computer. It had the serial number and authorisation code for each of the three packages that I might want to install. The three options were. Solid Works, Solid Works Office and Solid Works Office Professional.
When I continue with the installation i get to the part where I punch in the codes and I then continue on to the end of the installation with not hassles. The problems arise when I try to use the program... I open it and it gives me the message "This version of Solid Works has not been commissioned properly, please contact your supplier". What does this mean? I've uninstalled and reinstalled this program like 4 times now with different combinations of codes and package selections to no avail.
I would have assumed that if my codes were incorrect then it would have told me during the installation process not after it. Also, I looked up the net for codes to see if they may be incorrect and found the exact same ones.
I can't find a crack or any other kind of useful readme doc on the CD either. Does anyone know what I should try next? I really need to use Solid Works for uni ASAP.

mate, the program probably uses codes based on you system, what it does it it randomly generates a code based on your hardware, software, and usually system clock,
what this does is creates a code thats specific to you machine and no one elses.
thats probably why it wont work, the companies usually get you to register or something so they can log that code alongside the purchasers name...
however, i may be and probably am wrong, because i have no idea what this program does, or who created it...
your best bet is to find a code generator on the net specific to the type of program you want to install, some of these have been designed to create the exact code you need.
good luck.

It seems that there are lots of sites that have the code for this program and it is the same one on every site. It doesn't seem to matter what computer the program is loaded on or the code wouldn't work most of the time if what you are saying about hardware, software and system clock is correct.
I can easily locat key generators for 2001-2003 versions of SolidWorks but for 2004 I can only locate text docs with the code in them. Why might there not be a key generator for 2004 when there is for the earlier versions?
Any other suggestions?

Just looked it up... that site gives me the same damn code. I don't know what I'm doing wrong... I installed three other programs using a similar procedure and they all work.

Nah, the thing that has me stumped is that it isn't asking me to register and isn't giving me a chance to do anything... It's just giving me that message (read above) and when I click "ok" the program closes immediately. It's being a moody little bitch.

Thanks for the email... Hotmail blocked your attachment and I couldn't open it. Didn't matter though because I already have 2003 and it's keygen. I'm trying to get this newer, supposedly better version working.
Thanks anyway.

It apparently works for him on his computer with the serial that is on the CD the program is on. I don't understand why mine doesn't work. I've never got the "not commissioned properly" message before and I don't know what it means.
