im fitting nissan 4 spots to my 92 hilux
the calipers will bolt straight on
just need to machine hub down and fit disc over it
then just fit spacers to get the caliper offset correct

i have 300zx calipers
300zx calipers are same as r32 gtst calipers
so ill be tryin to adapt the 300zx or skyline discs
the hilux discs have a thred in them and the hubs bolt to the discs
very shit design when wanting to upgrade
so unbolt the disc and throw it out

AFAIK the 300zx and skyline calipers aren't the same.. they are both sumitamo calipers.. the same as wrx 200sx etc etc etc but they are set wider... as 300z's have a thicker disk..

theres afew diff skyline calipers so it all depends on how much money u want to spend
i think r32 gtst and 300 zx are same
r32 gtr might be bigger but since they are gtr they cost more
r33 onwards are like r32 gtr
ring sss automotive if yr after a set
but the bolt spacing for all are the same
and they fit hilux bolt spacing
200sx s15 are diff caliper
i think they are cast iron
but the easiest and cheaper ones are the r32 gtst or 300 zx
but dont expect to spend less than 400 to set it all up
unless u get parts for free or labour for free

i got given 300zx calipers for helpin someone
then i removed my calipers and the nissan ones bolted straight on
its not too much work compared to makin all new brackets
i used to make brakes for alot of datsuns and the hilux seems easy compared to them

well brakes and calipers are about 400
then u might want to put new seals or a kit in them
then u have machining of hub

Was having a discussion with a mate last night who has a 1G in a courier.. because my car is a commercial vehicle, i might not have to do a brake upgrade... he didn't... going to talk to the engineer i think...
but i would still like an upgrade..

okay, after rattling round in the DBA cattledog, ive noticed a couple of things...
the SR5 runs a smaller disk than the standard hilux... 248x22mm
the standard hilux runs a 257x25mm the same part number as a hiace...
a hiace also had a version available with 15" wheels.. that had a 285x28mm disk..
anyone know of one of these hiluxes they could get a look at to see? any ideas how to find out?
