1UZ Soarer Fuel Consumption

Hi guys,
I have the choice b/n a FTO and a Soarer both in great condition. But I am a bit worried about the V8 soarer's fuel consumption, any ideas on what it is like?

Good point there, lets create a situation. Currently I drive a VT II LS1 commowhore. How would the soarer compare if I were to drive them the exact same way?

If the LS1 is manual (6speed) then you will get better economy on the highway with it.
But I'd say the Soarer will be better elsewhere.

soarer will cane the poobox pushrod rattletank in fuel economy.
Im typically getting 400ks from ~60L in city driving with a moderately heavy right foot (i like 2nd gear kickback) in my UZS131 Crown (same engine etc as UZZ30). average speed there is around 20-30kph, meaning lots of stop start.
I am yet to measure highway economy.

the gen3 is very efficient on freewaay but not so great in the city, remember its 1.7L bigger too, although for a note my corona which has a 2.4l uses 12-18L per 100km which is the same as witzl's crown lol.
