I might not beable to make it to hobart until late on the saturday. I just realised that that weekend is the agfest weekend, i organised months ago to go with a bunch of people on the saturday, i'll try and convice them to go on the friday but if i can, i won't be leaving launny untill probably after 2pm.

sorry to hear about your mobile mate, any idea who flogged it?you've gotta still have a mobile, just get a cheapie off ebay. Ther are plenty of reasonable ones around the $100 - $150 mark brand new. Sux that you still have to keep paying the other one off though!

I doubt i can make mookies on saturday night, a few mates want me to go into town, but sunday morning i can cruise on down at wat ever time and we can start our cruise to campbell town!

how many ppl are going on this cruise? i went into town on friday night there were heaps of cars around and there was a cruise on friday to kingston with some rx7s and turbo pulsars but it was shit so i left then on saturday at 11am at rosny there was a cruise with gtrs, silvias, no toyotas though which was shit then i went with my brother to a gay commodore cruise to hounville with TASbommowhores which was crap and boring but what do u expect they are commodores. didnt see many toyotas out on the weekend im going to tafe again on the 2nd of may if anyone is having a cruise during weekdays from the 2nd to the 16th?

I'm from Gold Coast, lived in Devonport for a few months then went overseas. Have come back to live in Hobart. I want $13k for my car. It is probably a bit much for Tas but cars as tidy as mine, that are standard rwd NA 4age, are going for up to $12k in Qld. If there's a serious buyer I'm willing to travel. And at the end of the day it is an AE86. And it's very fast.

OH shit... i have seen that driving around!!! just after i saw it i pulled into hungry jacks in town and there where some people there talking about it !!! good work mate... well like i said our cruise is still on,
May 1st (2 Weeks away)
Hobart Meet at DEC Car Park
9am
Take some Photo's of hobart crew
leave 9:30 arrive at Campbell town at 10:15-10:30
Meet up with other half take group photo's
Fuel up + Get food
Leave for a drive around some remote area
Then all the north people can come back down to hobart
Make sure a few peoplr bring cameras, or even better a video camera.. it would be great to get a bit of toyota footage.. i will see if i can bring mine but don't rely on me to bring it... cause there is a chance dad doesn't want his $$ camera out of his sight !!

you too could have an engine bay like this! If you have the money, I've got the skills. It seems to me that there is a lot of potential for improvement in the performance car scene here in hobart.
There is no reason why you should have to take your cars to the mainland and hand over house deposits of cash to get serious work done. There are enough very skilled individuals here to keep us all happy.
I love mucking around with this shit, so if you want some advice, a hand with anything technical or someone to perform radical performance enhancments to your ride, I'm only an e-mail away.

hey TRD_Supra, save up a bit more money and get a 1JZ-gte front-cut to put in your car, they are such an awesome engine with heaps of power potential, straight out of the box you'll have 250rwhp. and they are so easy to put in any car with a 6 cylinder engine bay.

they are not as easy as a 7M and i figured with the money saved on buying the 1JZ i can put towards the 7M and get more power from it anyway! its about $4000 for a 1JZ.. its about $1400 for a 7M the total cost of the 1JZ will pretty much cover putting the 7M in the car cause i am hell poor anyway!

my mistake, the cut was $3200. $4000 got you a VVTI 2JZ-GTE auto cut out of a Crown.
I was out at baskerville on sunday and i met 3 blokes, all with AE86's. one guys name was Rob, he has a red one. I can't remember the other guys names. does anyone know who they are? I would like to get in touch with them again. thanks

I don't think Rob had glasses, he drives a standard looking red AE86 with original Aus spec wheels. Planning to go 20V turbo, as are his two other friends, one of which was from WA or is going there soon.

i know htat rob guy with the red sprinter.. he raced my mate in his gemini when it was stock... and he lost HAHAH gemini POWER! this rob guy used to own a boxy model hyundai excel with a MASSIVE exhaust.. like it make u go deaf + had stock hub caps and aftermarket tacho! fully sik mate..

What: All the Hobart people meet up at the DEC to cruise to campbell town, hopefully to meet up with northern people at campbell around 11.30
How does that sound guys... i can't organise the Northern part of the cruise, but i reckon we should make it so we all meet up at about 11.30 in campbell town !

Hey all,
Just wanted to say hi. I have just found this site. Looks awesome. I am a 22yo chick from Hobart and I drive a silver 1997 Toyota Paseo. You might of seen me around in Hobart maybe?
