i have to say, i actually like it.Ok there are some kinda gay things on it, like that bonnet scoop thingy but apart from that i reckon it looks really cool.

The supercharger bit?
I presume you mean the bug catcher?
For those who don't know, Merc V8's have the throttle body positioned in the same place as a carby, so you'll find that scoop is 100% functional (at least I hope it is).
They are also SOHC V8's too!
