Its not wrong...But some could say its also not right...
many people are opting to take out the traditional 4a and put in a CA or SR or even a 1G
it all comes down to what the driver of the vehicle would prefer...

personally i see no problem with it if another companies engine is more compact better/ cheaper performance per dollar or better supported in aftermarket industry. An sr20 makes a better conversion than say a 1ggte cos of weight distribution and the 3sgte is just a harder conversion.
But being a non toyota engine they will require more custom fabrication in matching gearbox etc.

I dont think its wrong to cross breed.. however some people are very very passionate about keeping their cars thoroughbred.. like some rotor people... its pure sacrelidge to put any different sort of engine in the car....

Well I don't see anything wrong with cross breeds.
The 351 clevo and the 350 chev are a very popular power plant for a lot of cars.
And if it had fit my would have a 351+C4 instead of it's 3.8+TH700
