you need a bit more than the head dude, front timing gear cover, dummy cam to drive dizzy and oil pump, and other shits and bits

trust me - get a 2TG and ditch the bits you don't need...

Is there any advantage of a 2/3tg hybrid over an 18rg ?
both make similar power .sure the 2t/3tg will bolt straight into a ta2# but the 18 rg is a hell of a lot cheaper

but the hybrid will rev at LOT easier/quicker. the 18rg is also very heavy (therefore weigh down the front) and difficult to put into a TA22 (especially if you want it legal- major upgrades required).

2TGs are also in my experience more common, therefore easier to get parts for.

I've got a spare 'yamaha head' (#260) 2TGEU complete with full EFI gear, but i wouldn't separate the head and block for any less than $400.

well i've got a nice shiny fuel rail here... $400 and it comes with a complete efi setup!

just gave dave at 'Sleeka spares' a call here in adelaide for ya, he's got EVERYTHING, including a 2TGEU fuel rail for $30.

if i was feeling a little less lazy i could go down there, buy it, then COD it for ya. u'll have to pay the petrol but! or i could swap it for an external timing chain tensioner. give me an email if your interested.

BTW oz_craig, sleeka spares has plenty of 2TGEU heads for around $150-200. sleeka spares number is (08)83596446

yep no probs mate, the $10 will cover packaging aswell. I'm not sure if its got the fuel regulator attached but.

I've got uni exams 'till wednesday, so won't post it until maybe thursday, which means u won't get it until early next week.

send your address and details via email and i'll post it COD.

I have a set of extractors you can have.
They are 4-2-1 Perry extractors in good order. Had them running on the standard 2T and it made a huge difference. Will sell for $70
I'm in Adelaide.

sorry about the confusion.. i've got a complete 2TGEU with everything needed to run it, but i was thinking of separating the block and head from the efi gear.

In which case i would sell just the engine for around $400. This is the big valve 2TG, and would come with everything needed for a hybrid conversion except the carbies.
