Oh how I love this event.. The chance to drive competitive stages on the Old Pac would be reason enough for me to enter, but not for some years yet!!
Any idea what it would take to get a media pass of some sort? (for photography outside the normal speccie areas?)

Joel - This is something I'm seriously considering for the future.. ~$5k is cheap IMO when you look at the event/stages!

I seriously hope this event gets massive live TV coverage like the V8's.
My eyes would be clued to the screen thats for sure.

There wont be any Commodores or Falcons.
It got about 30 seconds of airtime last year because a competitor was killed near Bathurst driving a Porsche.

Actually, there was some quite decent coverage that I think ran for at least a couple of hours one Sunday from memory..
Obviously they're not going to cover the entire event live (when it runs over multiple days!) but it was a decent rundown of the highlights.

most of these events have strict entry rulkes dudes , especially on what cars can enter and what those entered cars can have done to them- check the webpage out for details !
as a side note - im back listed as an official entry for Classic Adelaide for 2005 - this year the peranas much closer to being a goer , as the engines being redone now after the fiasco of last years engine supply bungle
