On the topic of 3SGE/GTE con rods, I was wondering if anyone could let me know the dimensions of them.

- eye to eye length (centre of each hole)
- big end diameter
- gudgeon pin size
- thrust widths at each end
- Oil squirter position

Anyone got a photo. (To compare to 18RG rods, I think they're the same length (138mm)

Sorry to hijack your thread gemtoy, but I've just gone through the same thing you're going through with 18RG con rods (the one I have infront of me now is a 942M, but the set have three different numbers, including some ending with "U".
No success on my side, there was such a range of different casting number of what seems like interchangable rods that I gave up.
The main thing that I noticed was that the different casting numbers seem to match particular numbers cast into the bearing caps. All the 942M's had a 3 on the bearing cap.
If you want to know more, search for "18RG rods". My thread should come up.

	Thanks for the reply Viper.
Steve M if you go to the Eagle rods web site the have all the lengths and sizes you need. I remember seeing the 18rg engine there but I am pretty sure that they are different to 3sg.
I would like to see a picture of a turbo rod if anyone has one.
Thanks
