Anyone have pics of their 18RGeu AFM/uniFlow? Fri, 15 November 2002 04:53 Go to next message
Hey i just need to know what sort of UNIfilter fits the 18Rgeu air flow meter, if anyone has one fitted to theirs let me know!! Im in the process of making the shipping company that lost the air filter and afm from the 18R get me new ones and it probably was a custom UniFilter, i just wana know if anyone has bought one b4 for this engine OR if they have any pics of the Air flow meters so i know if i can adapt another filter to fit.

or even a 22R-E afm would be better because i think thats what im gona have to settle for as a replacement. the inlet is 70mm to the plenum, so i think a standard 70mm kit should work i just need to know what the AFM looks like taht it has to fit to !

Cheers if anyone has any advice or info Wink
thanks again

heya guy, its justin.
i will find out what model filter it was on the one that should have arrived for you, i still have the box, so i will let you know what design/pattern/model it is, it will cost you about $170 and then you shipping from SYDNEY.
i may be able to get you a good price from unifilter direct as they are just around the corner and then i could send you a brand new one plus shipping, which may work out a bit cheaper for you, just thought i may be able to help, seeing as though, its partly my fault.

Yeah that could make this difference when i try and get a new one! that would be awesome Justin thanks heaps, i might even give you a call this weekend oe something.. Cos finally the shippers got back to me the other day about the insurance and i have to give them the exact part nos. of both parts.
I have the part number for a replacement AFM off the 22R-E which will be adequate, but I have no idea what model UniFilter it was, or if you got a custom one?? If u had a special one made up could u maybe give me the details of it or what sort it was? maybe even a part number if its got one?? Thanks heaps man,
They said it should all be rectified in the next two weeks finally which could mean i can actually put the engine in before christmas!!
I may just try and get a cheque for both parts from them, and if this is possible i'll talk to u about the new UniFilter if u wanted to do somehting like that.
Anyhow, thanks heaps for the prompt response, Did u get the last postal order all good? if u can be f*cked those pics of the AFM would be grouse.
Catcha later and cheers again,

Guy
