3sge Valve Cover Screws Fri, 15 April 2005 22:32 Go to next message
Hey I was just wondering if there's an alternative to the crappy 3sge valve cover screws? Mine seem to come loose (maybe I should try some thread lock). Other engines have alan key bolt types which seem to work good although I don't think there's enough room between my intake maifold on the 3sge to tighten a bolt with an alan key. Maybe I should just stop talking. . .

yeah or you can use locktite thread locker stuff or toyota black silicone or maybe silastic to keep tension on them???? an idea

I guess the the ones under the intake plenum you wouldn't want too much locktite on as they might then be difficult to undo as they can be awkward to access
