hey i have a 1985 celica supra 5 speed 2litre and just out of no where my speedo is all wrong it is always at the wrong speed it is about 10km/h faster then wat im going!!!!

just wondering if any1 can help me out

just removed the clear lens cover on speedo
remove needle
refit speedo

go down highway beside a mate at 100 km p h

then roughly stick the neeedle back on aimin at 100

these devices are prung loaded so if u remove needle and fit it back when sopeedo is at 0 then it will read wrong u need a bit of tension on the needle

i suggest you have a mate re-fit the needle! looks dodgy but less likely to kill someone

If this is an Aus-spec Celica Supra it has a digital speedo... so good luck re-fitting that needle. Laughing
