being that the carby is so far away from the cylinders......wouldnt that totally kill the throttle response (laggy)??
i mean by the time the carby opens, fuel flows out, goes trough the SC, comes out of the SC, goes across to the manifold, goes through the manifold, into the motor
im sure it would still be a torquey motor n all
am i way off?

Wouldn't it be cheaper buying the car and removing the supercharger for other usages or is the supercharger cheap to buy?
Cheers.

yup - i had one bolted infront of my turbo - big, ugly, simple things.
i hate them.
anyway ... if this particular engine decided to cough back thru the intake, i'be worried about the SC?
... and can those SC's withstand the constant wetness from the fuel on the seals/wipers inside the charger?

would be a case of rotors exiting the intake i would say with that much fuel air charge compressed! should put nawwwsss on it too just to finish it off totaly

Ive heard its good for them.
Lubricates things a little and also helps the rotors seal better.

that's bloody awesome, i love people who give the stock engine a go seriously, who cares if you blow it up, most people are giving 4acs away for free, or at least very cheap
the pipe from the blower to the intake manifold is one of the most amusing pieces of engineering i've ever seen
