GX81 1G-GZE Owners? Sun, 17 April 2005 22:32 Go to next message
Does anyone own a GX81 with a 1G-GZE and have access to a multimeter ?
I need the voltage readings at the AFM for comparison purposes.
Thanks,
Mitch.

Grant from Sixworks USED to have one. I'm pretty sure its sold now.

But send him an email, he may have written down what the AFM chucked out.

Mate, that will do fabulously. I just need you to measure the voltage change as the AFM flapper door is pushed open while the car is idling.
On my AFM this is the Vs signal, and its the dark green wire second from the left. Pull the boot back from the plug and touch the probe in there.
Mine starts at 1.9v to 2.3v and then drops right down to 0.5v when its fully open, and I sort of expected it to be the other way around, voltage rising while the AFM, starting at about 2 and rising to 4v or so......
Thanks mate, that would be much appreciated....
Cheers,
Mitch.
