Our Disasterous cruise to roberston pie shop today!!

Well as the topic says guys some of us shire boys had a cruise to roberston today.. the first half of the trip was really good me and another car had got a bit further away from the pack and where wondering where the rest of them where....when i got the phone call... 3 of my mates had crashed... one of them being Keal aka willy aka 79rollaboy, a mate in a charade and another being a mate with a hilux. None of them got hurt luckily but a 79rollaboys sprinter coped a very pushed up bonnet, the hilux suffered hardly any damage. But the boys still wanted to treck on so we did and we got to the pieshop with no casualties. After getting the pie's in the stomach and ready to push back home, a mates AE82 would not start...so after getting some jumper leads we got that going again. Then as we went to take of to leave roberston pat aka patty4age blew a tyre. So after that was changed we took of out of roberston.. Luckily after that there was no more casualties and the trip home was safe.

And Andrew - You haven't had a good pie until you've been to Freddo's pies on the mid north coast.. Now THAT place deserves some awards..
btw - What's the name of the place in Five Dock you mention? I'd be interested to check it out some time

sorry to hear about the bad luck, hopefully doesn't cost too much to fix.
IMO the best pie shop is in Dorrigo NSW inland from coffs harbour once again up a nice mountain road. These pie are cooked on a wood fire and they have every variety under the sun. The best pie eva.

Time for pictures
Im upset... but it will be repaired good as new ASAP... Since I wasn't at fault I am resonably ok with it all...
Aaah the pain
AAAahhh my hachi!
Pretty much the extent of the rear damage...
Weird how little damage a charade does, and how much the back of a hilux does...
Teh unbreakable hilux...

|
The name of the magical town is Frederickton
Looking at the pics of the crashed Sprinter, I can't believe that neither of the front guards appeared to cop any damage at all!! Maybe it's a good thing that you DID hit the back of a Ute like that.. Might have been a whole different kind of damage had it been the back of a normal car..

Yeah, when you consider market value is around 2500,
So say it takes the panelbeater ages source the parts, then probably about 1500 for parts because they use wreckers, then straightening the radiator supports, cutting back the bonnet spraying...
IT would have to be over 2500 when youve got the panelbeater charging like 70 an hour...
I asked him, will I be able to fix it, and he said, fuck yeah...
Im calling Allianz today and pretend im doing some market research to see how much info I can squeeze out of them about it...

ur better off getting panels from the forums over time, then getting the panel beater to straighten out the support.
overall, it'd cost you way way less.
