Dont' buy a kit, get a custom made setup, that way you actually get what you want.
Do some compressor calculations and figure it out for yourself.

Get a book on turbocharging, buy/borrow a welder and go to town

If you wanted bolt on parts u shoulda bought a skyline/silvia

(although there are 1G kits around, its encouraged on these forums to DIY

Even if u cant weld, choosing a turbo correctly for ur intended use/projected HP will in the end lead to a better outcome. Then u can take it to fab shop

Rather than buying the prettyest turbo+kit off the shelf

He can weld, him and his Dad. Josh, it'd probably be better to look for a manafold already fabricated with the right flange for your turbo choice. Importbitz.com has a few on there, check it out.

yes i agree with everyone else would be better to get a custom manifold and the turb wastgate ect of your choise, but these hks to4 kits ect, theres a few different ones getting around, are going for around the $1500 mark, try doing a custom set up for that money, a decent turbo alone costs that or more, yes the kits are a bit old school but value for money you cant beat them, unless your chacing big horsepower.

	hey,

it is interesting to see some of the comments here....

i have one of those shit hks manifolds and wastegates and an old school to4e.....

my car managed to run 12.5 sec @ 110.9 mph.....

with factory comp, injectors, airflow meter......

so they go alright for $1500.

Cheers
Stew

get ur hands on a hks t3 manifold and then find a turbo and waste gate to suit ur application

my car used the hks manifold,gt3040 with .82 turbine housing and a tial 38mm wastegate.i ran 12.4 sec on a light tune.the only downside was there was no boost till about 4000rpm but thats the price u pay for big power.

is there any decent turbos that will bolt on to the stock manafold, as I'm toying with the idea of keeping it twin turbo

You could still keep it twin turbo, but not with the stock manifold, nothing decent 'bolts' into that.

im guessing that it would be better to custom make a man. but what turbos would go good on it; i was thinking t28s?

Right now there's an ad in classifieds for 1ggte turbo kit.

the other option is to look at single,

which means: custom manifold, choosing your tubo carefully for your application and then bucket loads of fun (or so I'm told - I'm yet to get my 1ggte goodness)
