Intercooler cores new??

Does any one know where to get intercooler cores from?
I have a friend who is a boilermaker and has the skill to weld any thickness aluminium in any shapes needed so i thought i would be able to put him to good use hehe....
i had thought of getting a few cores and getting them made up in a "one size fits all" intercooler but it will depend on the cores i can get hold of.
The welding of end tanks and piping + pressure testing should not cost more than 75-100 bux per intercooler so if someone can find some cheap cores i will buy a few and sell them here @ cost price a. so i can get a good, new, cheap fmic... and b. so other toymods people can to hehe   
lemmie know what you can get hold of.

Yeah, Im looking for a raw tube n fin core too. I suppose one could simply enquire at performance/radiator/intercooler workshop where the requisition their supplies.

Example price for a core about 400mm by 300mm by 60mm thick?

Well, sorry I can't give you an exactly price, because I dunno what the sizing of the one I looked at was, but it looked like it was around $400 for a new garrett core for about the size I needed and the power flow I needed.

Roughly
300mm tall
450 - 500mm wide
60mm thick
I know it probably wont come in those exact sizes but about thos dimensions should be sweet.
