G'day guys,
i own an 1985 sprinter & am thinking of doing an engine conversion to either a 4A-GZE or a silver top 20 Valve. i'm just woundering if ne1 has any ideas on wat prices i will be looking at 4 both the conversions considering i prob wont be doing 2 much of the work my self. Freak

Search the old forums. There has been plenty of debate in the past on this topic. My advice is go to the next Toymods cruise day and take a ride in a 20 valve and a 4AGZE. That's about the only way to get a real feel for the type of engine you may prefer. As for as cost of conversion goes, both would be about the same.

Go the 16v.. 4age.. Its cheap.. reliable etc. you can get good power from it too..
Dont go the GZE.. Your gonna brake shit.. TRUST ME.. My freind has one and now its strong as an ox.. But thats after..
