hi all you queenslanders.
i received some bad news last night, a mate of mine had a motorcycle accident near north tivoli 400metres from the kholo overpass on the warrego highway brisbane side. he was there for 16 days before he was found.
i will be coming up to attend his funeral service and i want to go to the crash site.
i will be staying in Manly north brisbane when i come up.
roughly how far is this and what direction from say wilowbank raceway. from my rough calculations i believe it is near ipswitch.
You exit off Ipswich road at Riverview to head off down the Ipswich motorway to get to willowbank. This exit is just after the warrego highway exit on ipswich road.
You would be coming down ipswich road to get to the motorway so it's not 'on the way' as such but you're heading in the right direction.
I think the exit is marked as the route to Toowoomba and is often referred to as the ipswich bypass.
From memory, the overpass you're after is 3-5 minutes after taking the turnoff.
willowbank and Kholo/Tivoli are on opposite sides of ipswich.
