I was wondering if anyone knew if the load sensing cable is the same on these gearboxes? The bracket on my 1jz auto has broken so I need a new one.

Are you talking about the kick down cable bracket at the throttle or auto end? I have a few 7M auto's so if you can email me a pic ill compare them. If thats any help...

I actually mean the whole thing. I have a 1g auto one that I was in the process of checking but it looks a little bit short. I will find out on sat. I am 90% sure the bracket going into the auto is the same though.

The results are in for the 1g and 1jz kickdown cables.
1g is 110cm and fairly straight
1jz is about 125cm but has a bend in it so it is hard to measure.

So does anyone have a 7m one they can measure? Otherwise, I will need to find another 1jz one.

*forgot to mention the 1g was a gz20 soarer and the 1jz was a jzx90 chaser. I would hope that they are the same between other car models*

Had a good look at my 1jz one and I am an idiot Razz I will be able to use this one just have to get the cable clamped back into the bracket hard.
