Tailshaft - I used Adelaide tailshaft services Ph 8262 9691, Unit 11, 17/19 Churchill Road Nth, Dry Creek.
Very good service and the price was great as well.
Suspension shop, try Stable Suspension at Research Rd at Pooraka.
Cheers

5. Engine machinist
I dunno exactly what you are after but there's a buy called Bill Hanson who does flow bench stuff etc and can probably refer you on to someone else if he can't do it. Very good work, built my brother's rally car cylinder head and it makes very good torque and power.

There is a joint off Port road called McLaren Motor engineers. Not the cheapest-but without doubt one of the best quality machine shops in adelaide.
They aren't well known in toyota/import circles purely because they don't push cheap-1/2 done engine builds.
Last time I was there a bloke had dropped in with a mint/restored 1929 RollsRoyce for which McLaren had fully remanufactured the engine. IMPRESSIVE.
They were also doing a leopard tank engine that day.
If it has pistons, they seem to have the skills regardless of make-and the shop owner also gets on the machines and pumps out work-he actually did the machining on my original handmade wastegate-faultless.
There is also Rhemac at Gawler. Again-low profile-but top shelf work.

Tailshaft, Hardie-Spicer did me a custom one with H/D unis-about $300 or so, and quality was good.
Tuning, Road and Track at Enfield are good-although give Brenton at F&M a call and see who he's recommending these days.
But if you want a hand for on-road finetuning give me a buzz. (I charge a minimum of 1 stubbie per hour -although not whilst we are tuning of course........ ) At the dyno shop they'll give it a good power tune, but for everywhere else, on road is the way to go. I've got a fair amount of experience there.
I'm in blackwood.

PS-What's it for dude? 4AG? (Z?, T?)
