icon5.gif  T/C 20v SilverTop? Sun, 24 April 2005 07:37 Go to next message
Hey, i wanted to drop a 4AGE 20v SilverTop into my AE92. Then, fit a 5Speeder with LSD and OEM, i dun remember the name of d gearbox. B4 i go on, i wanted to know if that will work, and fit?

Next i was thinking bout goin turbo, at first i thought ZE pistons then i realised there only 16v n i want 20v Low Compression.
So next question would be, is there any 20v Low Compression pistons i could fit, OR will it be best to just fit the ZE head and ZE pistons?

if i fit the ZE heads and pistons will there be much advantage on having a silver top bottom? or would it jus be a waste of the silvertop all together?

can i fit a 20v st into my ae92.
can i turbo that n use ze head n pistons.
if i do use ze heads n pistons is it a waste of the 20v bottom end.

yes you can fit one into an ae92. you havnt really researched this much have you.

i cant see the point in using a 20v when basically you are only going to be using the block.

just drop in a 4agze and use that.

You aint looking hard enough, they are everywhere, on this forums a guy is trying to get a FWD 20v turbo setup into the 12's... + forty hundred other examples

Heres an on topic questions for those who know, what forged pistons are there to suit 20v's off the shelf, what CR and how much $$$ are they?

I cant see the GZE pistons being much good without modifications

edit: me fail english? thats unpossible

but dude like i said, whats the point of using a 20v block? i can understand being all full-sick-look-at-my-showcar-with-a-5-valves-quad- throttle-turbo-4age.
but i fail to see the attraction in using a 20 valve block only.

at least retain the 20v head.
