I've heard a good radiator cap to use for the 7MGTE is 17-18psi. Any comments? What caps are you guys currently using and with what degree of success?

A higher pressure cap will only change the boiling point of the water, it will not change the running temp of the car at all.

That said, a higher pressure cap will give you a greater safety margin in the event of a overheat.

If you get one, stick to about 16psi.

Cheers
