Here are some pics of the crown following this weekends activity.
The custom plenum is prettymuch done, the second row of injectors is all set-up (6 X GTR 440cc + 6 X RX7 550cc), the exhaust manifold is modified to mount the GT-42 and 2X Tial 38mm gates, the turbo dump is done (exhaust will be 4 inch), and the radiator has been modified to suit the Falcon header tank set-up.
Not much left to go now!!

Nice work Sean. I love the dual fuel rail setup. What ecu do you use again? How difficult do you think it will be to tune with that setup? I assume one row will be switched at a certain rpm.

Looks like any Sport Compact racing will be out of the question though.
I think the capacity limit for Sport Compact has just been set at 4100cc. So much for that idea then.
Chris-I'm running an Autronic SMC computer, and the injectors will all be running at once. (no switching).

I must ask, isn't 6 GTR injectors and then *another* 6 550cc injectors complete overkill?
I would have thought a nice row of 6x750cc would have been fine?

Does this mean you are not allowed to compete at events like jamboree and drag combat altogether? Or just that it would not qualify to set records. Because it is still an import DOHC 6 cyl just a damn big one!
I was once thinking of doing the 12 injector thing as I still have my stock 370cc injectors spare but would have been switched because I doubt I would need 920cc max per minute per cylinder. And I was thinking it would be difficult to tune as even on very low duty cycle it would be pumping a decent amount of fuel. That is what I thought anyway. But I suppose your setup doesn’t have much off boost time anyway plus larger capacity so that would probably overcome that problem.

I'm certainly hoping it'll go.
Considering that with a shit plenum set-up, 14 psi, pump fuel and a much smaller blower it ran 11.04@125-and that was using 5950rpm of the 6000 redline and no stalling up at all-fingers crossed that 10's should be a formality.(if nothing in the driveline breaks of course...)
I've also got taller BFG drag radials and 3.08 diff gears in it now. It should push the theoretical top speed in 3rd out to 140 mph, meaning I wont have to rev it way past max power this time.
Cheers
Sean
