Hey all, just wondering bout a few things on my corona. Firstly, is it possible to mount a ram pod filter ontop of my carbie and still have room to close the bonnet? If so, what type of filter should i get? I have removed all of the emissions control crap so there is a bit more space.

Secondly, the stock rear axle has a somewhat major oil leak coming from the diff casing from what i think is the gasket. I have wacked some gasket goo on it as a temporary band aid but its leaking through again. Is it easy enough to replace myself or should i get done by a pro?? Thanx for your help guys!

Dont bother, youll probably find it wont make a difference anyway.
If you still want to do it, get a good quality filter thats the same shape and size as the stock one rather than a pod.

Hey thanks for the help. Allan, is that the PCV valve that you have hooked up to the outlet on the rocker cover? Where did you divert that to? Also, what did you plug the hole where the PCV originally came out of with?? When i say i removed all the emissions crap, i only took off the air pump and diverted the pcv to the air filter so that it sucks in cool air. The outlet on the rocker cover just has a breather filter on it. Is this ok?? So far no probs but its only been 1 day since i did it. Some more pics would really help! Thanks guys!!
