geting an engineer to answer the phone is a challange down here i think thay would laugh at you if you didnt take the car to them!

contact queensland department of transport and ask for a list of approved engineers is probably your best bet! queensland transport is fairly useless infact so useless it inspired somone i know to drive a JZA80 from the gap to sydney with no rego or permit Rolling Eyes

mobile mechanic can give you RWC but they normally cost a LOT as you are paying them to come to you.
But then that compensate you towing your car to a mechanic shop.
Mobile mechanic charges more $$$ per hour

Mobile Engineer for MOD plate... I havent seen one of these!!!

John Kean is the man you need to talk to... he will come to you and he does mod plates and RWC's. I got my Celica and Supra done by him. Wasn't expensive either.

I don't have his number on me but if you search the forums I think someone posted it a while ago.

Re: Brisbane roadworthy/mod plate/LPG cert place? Thu, 28 April 2005 01:52 Go to previous messageGo to next message
yeah my mate gave me his number a while ago... i forgot about it but haha.

i need to get the hazard light switch fixed and get a gas certificate as the one i got last month is no longer valid to get my car registered (has to be within 30 days of registering)

so it would be good if I could find a place that does Roadworthy's/Mod Plates/LPG Certificates and can fix my hazards.

anyone know if there is such a place haha?

I've been to metro auto gas (i think thats the name) to get the original gas certificate and they are a bunch of felchers so i'm never going back. they knew shit all about cars.
