my question is why you would fork out for a front cut without knowing what your doing?
anyways to help you out there are a number of people who have done this conversion, from the looks of it the floor pan had to be modified and shifter possy altered. seek the people out who have done these conversions and you should have researched more before you underook such an intense transplant.

Front cut is a start, but u need more than that to finish the conversion. Anyway to answer some of your question
1.Firewall don't need to be modify
2.The shifter postion whill change for sure...about 6inch from the original. The most ironic thing is that i found a gearbox which leave the shifter in exactly the original place, after i finish the conversion. I believe it came out of the nissan r30
3. It can be road registered..well in NSW that is im not sure about other state, because mine is on the road
Anyway good luck with the conversion.

My brother owns a garage and has connections. And therefore i got a halfcut cheap.
If a half cuts not neccesary why(can always trade bak for an engine). I paid $3000 for the 180sx cut.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME ADXACTLY what parts are needed and wat to do.
My brothers hav experience in doin conversions ,but would just like to know wats involved before doing it.
Do u reckon a 3sgte engine would be easier.
PLEASE HELP ANYONE
Thanks Tai Tran

3sgte and sr conversion both have hteir pros and cons in terms of fitment
if u need to know what needs to be done, i suggest u think about it for a minute and it will all become apparent.
almost identical to a ca conversion.
lots of info on the forums already do a search
