The RS200 was prepared here in Melbourne by a Lotus workshop in Richmond , and the body and those fibreglass doors done by File Finish in Fitzroy . Amazing how minimal that cars is built tailshaft would look big hanging under a truck , build for big power the gear in that car .

that RS200 doesnt do 0-100 in 2.1 seconds because the Monaro does it in 3.8 and i know for a fact that the monaro is faster than the RS200, but the awsome thing was i saw one celica lay a nice set of lines in one stage yesterday cause i live in tassie and i know some of the drivers

i don't see any reference to 0-100kmph times in there, sure they talk about the power etc but no mention of times. In rallisport challenge 2 these cars only had a 4 speed manual is that true or is the game just fucked.

and yes i will admit that that one does 0-100 because i have seen it befor and i have read lots about it also noting it is an AWD thats y it has such a quick take off it basicaly like the Eskudo Pikes peeks version witch i got to see but although the they do the same time for 0-100. the 0-100 was done on the escudo when it was doing an uphill run, so The RS200 is indeed a very fast car

RS200 = group B rally car.
RS2000 = "ratshit 2000" escort heh heh
i would almost put money on any of the group B cars vs a modern production car. their power to weight is insane.

Yeah, the RS200 Group B went off the track and killed 13 people...
Still, I dont care what anyone says, they were some of the fastest and most insanely overpowered care ever.. And were perhaps the best racing series ever...

if my engineer ( whos the one doing all the work on my gt4 atm ) has time - i can ask him to see if he has any old data or pics of the RS200 in development - he was working with Cosworth at the time they were being made + was involved in the development of the machine ..
hes also one of the only civillians i know of who had a ride in one of the full spec grp B cars on the cosworth testing grounds .
ill see ahat i can get - but wont guarantee anythign - hes a pretty private old fella but really REALLY knows his craft

Hey guys, I've been following the Targa from last weekend. I went to the expo in Launceston last weekend, then to the expo in Hobart on Thursday. Yesterday I went to watch one of the stages through the forest in the rain, and Today I went to watch the Hobart stage near the city.
Yesterday Stokell's LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO CRASHED!!! It is basically a write off! Wouldn't it break your heart?
I have a heap of photo's of all the GT-Four's, two genuine Grp A Rallye's, one is a Carlos Sainz GT-Four, and the others are regular GT-Four's.

poor little ekkie it's not the 1st escort to fall victim to that corner.
I'd be spewing sooooo hard if it was my lambo that crashed.

If there are enough ppl interested i'll go and talk to somewhere that sells DVD's and maybe they could do some deal with who ever wants to buy them ?????
I'd buy them for you guys but i'd hate to mess it up and it would turn out to be a nightmare with the whole "commercial sales" thing.

trust me mookie its not hard to take photos of moving images the key is too follow them for a while, practicing zooming and focusing for peeps with SLR's and then wait for somehting to happen and then take the picture, or just follow take shot etc.
They are good quality pics, what camera do you have rainey digital SLR or just normal digital or good old film camera like me.
I'd love to come down to tassie and do some of the roads down there but the corona is not to friendly in the wet and since most of those roads see constant rain eventually i could see something bad happening, but once i get a newer car i might come down, load up the sat nav with the roads and head off for drives.

Really ?
I've tryed with digital cameras but i still can't get the same quality photo's i can from a regular SLR camera. I've al;ways got a point and shoot camera in my car loaded with 400 speed film just in case
the roads that are maintained are really good down here but the rest r really bad if your car is lowered of even has a bigger zorst system.

yeah i have never used a digital for motion pictures, though my sis's boyfriend has some awesome pictures from the pit wall at Bathurst and they travel faster there than on the targa.
I have just a film SLR, nothing beats it what you see is what the picture looks like, i either will get a good film scanner or wait until some better digital SLR's come out to upgrade, that or if the canon 8.1 megapixel ones drop in price i might get one.

yeah i want to upgrade to digital.
But i've got around 10 lenses for my film camera so that's why i use it.
I've got this one lens around 30 cms long. i've also got a doubler but i've never needed to use them both at the same time.
My friend bought a 7 mega pixel camera it's really really good but you need to take a bunch of memory cards if u want to take a decent number of photos

yeah i've got a 90-300mm lens to, don't have the double magnification though, um what SLR do you have cos if you upgrade to a digital SLR of the same brand the lenses are compatible. Only prob is with the digital SLR's is all but i think konica minolta have an imbuilt magnification of around 1.3-.15 so a 300mm lens become a 450mm, cool but not as good for macro photos hence the reason they have 18-55mm lens with most of the digital SLR's

Hey guys, personally I think they are good photo's when you consider the instrument I use to take them is less that adequate (Sony Cybershot 5.0 Megapixels). I want to get rid of that camera and get a real one! I'm sick of everything being automatic and really takes great coordination to get a good photo out of my current one.
I'll explain how I took the photo of the WRX. Basically I used the auto focus function and aimed the camera at the section of the road I anticipated I would be photographing, held the button down halfway on the camera so that it focused on that spot, then with the button half down I aim to the point where the car will appear, follow it with a steady hand and snap the photo as it passes the section I focused on.
Its a real bitch so I hope to hit myself up with a Digital SLR soon.
The only setting I changed on the camera was from twin point focus to spot focusing, got a better result that way.
