my sisters new suzuki cino (not toyota i know Crying or Very Sad )
that they brought home yesterday (92 model, 1.6L carby) was all good apparently until some time yesterday afternoon, when it

1. didnt want to start
2. when it did start, if you took your foot off the accelerator, it would cough cough, splutter, and then stall...

and ideas would be appreciated....its probly going in for a full mechanical service soon anyway

p.s i know its not toyota, but hey.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.... thanks

try keeping your foot slightly on the gas pedal before starting, and keep your foot there to keep the engine at 1000rpm for 1 minutes, then let your foot off, see if the engine would still stall..
