Please forgive my ignorance if this question has ben posted but i have searched a few pages and there was no info in my question...
If i was to put bigger injectors on my motor would i have to change the ecu or do any real mods to the efi system?

yes. either piggyback or a whole new ecu.

The stock ecu will handle about 15% extra.
Anything more than that and your idle maps will suffer.
As will anything below or equal to atmospheric pressure
