people I am interested in replacing my coil-over springs and I was wondering if any of the companies sell a progresive rate coil-over 65mm I.D spring? I wouldn't mind the car to be a little nicer around town without losing to much of my cornering or am I doing the wrong thing by looking at a progressive setup?

Kings make dual taper springs where the wire at the top and bottom tapers down to reduce the spring rate. I asked about pricing when I was looking for coil over springs and the dude at Kings said I didn't want to know so I didn't pursue that one.

Another thing to keep in mind is that (at least with stock-replacement springs) many progressive springs are effectively linear when installed, and are merely progressive to keep the springs captive at full droop etc.
My front Kings lowering springs are like this.
Personally, I'd be going the option as suggested by M.W.P.

well I stand corrected, however they dont have a 275lb anyway so I am not interested. Is a tender spring the same as a helper spring because that doesnt effect the ride at all?

Yeah I think tender/helper all the same. They only effect the ride height slightly, as when the weight of the car is on them they are totally compressed.

They shouldnt affect the ride height at all. You just have to compensate for the thickness of them when compressed.
Here is a pic of mine installed:

The kings spring is the tender/helper spring (KF65S) and the eibach is my 450lbs main spring.

Sorry thats what I meant, the ride height increase is just the thickness of the springs when bound together. I think mine was like 20mm or so.

Yeah? 20mm sounds very small. You using the little Eibach ones? The Kings ones are around 40mm thick i think.
