In the wake of MR. 2's success in getting a few cars out for a cruise, I'm going to be doing the same thing this sunday!
Whether anyone else comes out or not, I'll still be going.

Ok, details
Meet at Brooklyn boat ramp carpark at midday.
I'll be hanging around until 12:30 ish if there's people are are going to come but after 12:30 I'll be leaving to drive!
I was thinking maybe we cruise north along the old pacific highway from brooklyn, and then all the way to the roundabout where you turn left to wisemans ferry, or right to gosford / freeway. From there I guess we can turn around and go back, and stop at pie in the sky for a bit of a snack lunch or something, and then keep going back.
Obviously, if anyone has any other suggestions as to where to go, I'll be all ears
So to summarise
This sunday, 1st of May
Meet between 12:00 midday and 12:30 at the Brooklyn boat ramp carpark
Bring a radio if you have one! I've gotta buy one myself, will a uniden CB handheld thing do? the $60 - $80 ones with 5km range?
Look forward to possibly putting some more names to faces.
Cheers
James
edit: my mobile phone number is 0400 306 732 if anyone has any queries on the day.
The boat ramp's really easy to find, if coming southbound down the freeway, get off at the brooklyn exit, and its the first main left turn after the bridge.
For people coming northbound, its the RIGHT turn JUST BEFORE THE BRIDGE on the pacific highway. The obvious road, not the small hard to turn into road... thats a tiny little jetti
Once you turn down that road to head into brooklyn, just follow the main road. STAY ON THE MAIN ROAD! It will seemingly end with a pub on the right.
Turn right down that street beside the pub, and then follow that. shortly that road will end... turning into the boat ramp carpark, where you'll see us waiting!
edit: directions added

That's ok alchemist.
It was a nice leisurely cruise, just with two mates, one in an S13 and one in a 200SX.
One had to go early, but it was still good. Not much traffic problems, except for an L-plater doing 30km/h for about 10km
Coming back we cruised through somersby and along that road that wraps back around to the old pacific highway, then came back south along the old pac, and kept going past brooklyn and stopped and had lunch at pie in the sky. Said cya to the others, and then headed home! Went for a while and was a ton of fun.
There was a bike who hit a guard rail just in front of me on my way home, that held me up a bit cause the other riders were stopping cars cause it was on a blind turn while they got everything out of the way, then the ambulance came... but yeah, he was alright i think
Just confirms though that i love that piece of road, and this sort of this is definitely going to be a regular occurence.
If I can afford the petrol costs, that is! lol
Took some pics of my soarer and the silvia that came at pie in the sky...
Ahh so fun
*feels all warm and fuzzy inside*

If my car was on the road, and not in a mechanic's workshop I would've been there too!
Hopefully i'll be getting it back this week some time
