Air Conditioning Gear

Pulled out all my 'engine-side-of-the-firewall' air con equipment today, and its now up for sale! originally fitted to an ma61, it was working fine (despite needing regas) and is all in top nick. the compressor, infact, bares a recent reco sticker on it.
includes:
-compressor and m series mounting bracket (many toyotas use the same compressor, & just use different brackets. go figure what you might need)
-piping and valves and stuff
-front 'radiator', fan, sensor?, and gas canister
basically everything from the firewall to the front of the car. you couldnt pay me enough right now to strip the dash to get the bits out from inside the cabin
common! summer is coming... GET COOL!!
bidding starts at $80 + shipping
cheers

I'm very interested.
Will it fit a 5M-GE? I assume it would, just wanting to make sure.
Thanks

yep...
fits a 5mge no probs
what car is it in ?? compressor will have zero dramas, just depends what your space situation is like for the radiator etc, and whether the line will be sufficient (though i think it should all be fine)

It'll be going in an MX-62 Cressida (put a 5m-ge instead of the 5m-e), so shouldn't be a hassle for room in there.
I really need this ASAP, would you accept $80 + post? I've got a lead on one here in Adelaide, but that one may be held up for a bit. Its getting rather warm over here!
Thanks
Glen

just thinking...
the 5mge runs a flat belt rather than a V type belt off the crank pulley yeah? do you have an exixting compressor off the 5mge of any of the compressor brackets? you might need to swap them over ??
im guessing youre after all the gear yeah?
i can send it ASAP, just have to make sure the compressor is under 20kg so AustPost will accept it. will ship in two parts.
cheers

I'll have to check on the belt situation, not sure.
I have absolutely nothing to do with the air-conditioner at the moment, so I'd need all the gear.
So if I was to get the lot off you, would I need anything further do you think?
Thanks
Glen

ahhh, interesting
I don't think I will need those bits as the car *used* to have air-conditioning, but the "new" engine didn't have the compressor or anything.

ok, if the car used to have air cond, and is just missing the compressor on the new engine, id assume you still have all the gear up in front of the radiator as well... so you just need the compressor, and maybe the odd pipe to hook it up.
for what its worth, the compressor i have here has a V belt pulley, and will probably need to be changed to use with your engine. you probably wont want all the other bits i have from my uninstall. id prefer to try and sell it all in one go, but let me know what you find under the bonnet...
