4AGE Cranks, but does not run.

Ok, did a conversion in my AE86 to AE82 16v 4AGE. Its all been loomed up etc. Have power to ECU on B+, B1+ and BATT on IGN ON and START. Tested ignitor, all leads make spark. Fuel is pumping threw into the rail niceley etc. So turn the key, it will just stay cranking.
Im thinking its got to be something to do with the injectors. Has anyone heard of this problem before? I found a thread on Club4ag that it was happening to a phew people. http://forums.club4ag.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=90305
Thanks. All help appreciated.

What injectors are you using. Stupid question i nkow, but square plug injectors are low impedence, and the round 100kw (green) type are high impedence.

have you got the timing set right?
this is the problem i had, get the timing right first.
while you are stting the timing and have the dizzy out of the head, turn the rotor around by hand with the ignition on, you should be able to hear the injectors "ticking" which will tell you if they are opening, but not if they are clogged up.

i'd take the plugs out and hook a timing light up. just to make sure that the timing is about right.
If the timing is right then i'd say its an injector problem,
if the timing is way out then you might have the dizzy 1 or 2 teeth out.
are the plugs wet when you take them out??

Same thing happened to mine...
Make sure the power feed for the injectors is connected...
I know the JAP RWD 4AGE needs a separate power feed...
From memory the wire is yellow...

it could be a million things
spray aerostart down air cleaner if it runs then its fuel problem
if it doesnt then its something else
did u do cam belt
if yr not mechanically minded i have had people do belts on these and totaslly fuck em up cause the dowels are opposite to each other
if mechanically its ok and u have spark then there ios no reason that it wont start on aerostart
