Can a sr20det,ca18det be engineered and registered in an AE86 sprinter. In Melbourne.

How much would it cost for just the engine to be put in.

If possible what else is needed.eg brakes etc.

Save yourself the hassel and buy a Nissan gazelle with an FJ20DET in it (Nissan's answer to the Celica GT-TR.) Cheaper and the FJ20 is a much stronger (and better sounding) motor than the alloy SR blocks. Yet looks somewhat like an AE86.
