auto trasn problems	Sat, 30 April 2005 11:59

I've got a auto front wheel drive box in a magna that accelerates normally in 1st and 2nd but has no drive in 3rd gear. Anyone know what can cause this? Can having too much transmission fluid cause problems? [Report message to a moderator]

nope.. not this kind of problem. My thoughts are that you have some burnt out clutches...3rd gear ones obviously.. [Report message to a moderator]

do you think it would be cheaper to get it fixed or get a 2nd hand box? I can remove the box from the car, but i wouldn't know how to fix the clutches [Report message to a moderator]

magnas always have gbox problems u also have to use special oil in them get a new car heeh [Report message to a moderator]
