does. dose.

2 fat white wires go to the alternator fuse at the battery - these wires do the charging.

There will also be a yellow, white, and black/red wire - these are field, sense and warning light - if you take a careful look at the alternator, you'll notice that they're even marked Razz

make sure the field wire has a seperat switched 12V (ie. not just tied to the big white wires) the alternator won't work without it. I had the same problem when i did my conversion.

the field wire is either the yellow or the black/red. mrshin says it's marked on the alternator. Other wise, start the car and put +12V onto each of the little wires coming from the alternator one at a time. When you get the right one you will hear the idle drop 1-200 rpm and you should be able to measure about 14V on the battery. If it still won't work you must have a dead alt.
