GZE flywheel definitely clutch Sun, 01 May 2005 14:25 Go to next message
woops sorry mods, i must have clicked new thread in the wrong tab Embarassed i use firefox and usually surf the forums with a few tabs. sorry for putting it in misc!

anyways after a flywheel and possibly clutch to suit an AW11 GZe. not sure if we need clutch as yet but i figure its sensible to have one in mind should it be necessary.

engine planned to have a bit of extra poke to it so if you have a clutch to offer or recommend it has to be able to cope with some decent punishment.

as i say tho definitely need a flywheel - anyone have one?
Cheers

/edit: definitely need a clutch... looks like a chat to Nicks is in order...

do you happen to know which type you have? we have an LSD box coming and from research im told theres 2 types of gze clutch .. 220mm and 230mm (clutch contact face i believe). problem is we arent sure which type the box requires yet, and we'd like to get a flywheel that fits first go..

going to go do more research to nut out what type it needs sight unseen but if you could let me know which type you have i can let you know if we'll need your flywheel as soon as i find out Smile

Cheers

/edit:

is looking like its a 225 mm item for the MR2 GZes. theres no way the donor vehicle is later than '88, the 230mms appear to be from later (90's) cars i.e. AE92 and 101. so pending further info im after the 225mm clutchface flywheel.
