Wanted Canberra: Fast daily driver ~$10k

Guys,
Looking for a fast daily driver (manual only), with power options (steering windows etc) and air con.
Open to suggestions, but must be in good to great condition, drive well.
Was thinking ST162 with 3SGTE or a ST184/185 same sort of deal.
What would be pro's and cons of a GT4 be over a std SX with the 3SGTE in it?
Anyway, hope to hear from peeps soon.

I'm still looking around, so far considering a JZA70 Supra, a MX83 Cressida with a 1J, and similar things like that.
I want manual, rear wheel drive, pretty reasonable handling, potential for some good straight-line speed, and comfortable as a daily driver.

My 2 cents.
might be hard pressed finding a jza70 under 10k, unless ur willing to find a ma7 with a blown engine or something and convert gbox/motor/ecu/brakes, perhaps suspension, and all the wiring, urself. Then it's still not a factory jza70.
I think mx81 with 1j you could find very close to 10, perhaps on 10k, i doubt under though. Good luck anyways, u've got an extensive choice on the forum.
Seeing as we're giving free plugs too, i'd recommend u have a look at the 7mgte soarer at
www.importbitz.com.au, go to cars section, have a look. Good for price, especially considering possible head gasket probs with the 7m and that this one has a cometic metal hg done by the business owner, and although can still have head problems, the metal hg should significantly reduce that threat. I think that's a decent price if ur not planning on thrashing whatever u buy to death.
